ERNST
JEAN-BAPTISTE

"Ze Nono": The man who played with legends, fought for peace, and is now building the future.

Chapter I

From Limbé to the Capital

Born in Limbé in 1956, Ernst Jean-Baptiste was not just a player; he was a prodigy. By age 15, he was already wearing the colors of Violette AC, one of Haiti's most storied clubs.

His elegance on the ball and tactical intelligence earned him the nickname "Ze Nono". He became the heartbeat of the National Team ("Les Grenadiers") during the pivotal years of 1975-1983.

Chapter III

The Match for Peace

"Football is stronger than guns."

In 2004, Haiti was in turmoil. Ze Nono believed in the impossible: bringing the world's most famous team to Port-au-Prince.

"We knew that for 90 minutes, the guns would go silent."

The "Game of Peace" (Haiti vs. Brazil) became reality. Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, and Roberto Carlos arrived. Ze Nono was instrumental ("Nono lo hizo").
